Welcome to UPI Gateway.dev ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, dashboard, APIs and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the business you represent. The Service is intended for merchants operating in India who hold a valid current account with an Indian bank and have completed KYC requirements with us.
2. Nature of Service
UPI Gateway.dev provides software that helps merchants collect UPI payments routed directly to their own bank accounts. We are a technology service provider and not a payment aggregator or banking entity. Funds settle directly to your account; we do not hold customer funds in escrow at any time.
3. Fees
We charge a flat monthly subscription fee as listed on our pricing page. There is no per-transaction cut. Fees are exclusive of applicable GST and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
- You must comply with all applicable Indian laws including the IT Act 2000, RBI/NPCI guidelines and PMLA.
- You must not use the Service for prohibited businesses (gambling, unregulated crypto, narcotics, weapons, adult content, MLM schemes, or any activity that violates UPI scheme rules).
- You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the API.
- You are solely responsible for the products and services you sell to your customers.
5. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your API keys, webhook secrets and login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard credentials.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, chargebacks or risk concerns, or as required by NPCI, RBI, or partner banks. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of UPI rails, partner banks or third-party providers. Settlement timing depends on your bank and the UPI network.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your products, or applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
